So, in Anne’s elective course, she has been enjoying the abundant autonomy all the time. In second term of grade one of university, she told me that she decides to major in a photography lesson, I have agreed joyfully, and has bought the special camera and photographed, washed various apparatus of the looks for her. This subject is a course with very high artistry. Course can basically be divided into two parts of theory and practice. The ones that are divided into professor’s proposition and photographed and drawn materials oneself again in practising part are photographic. Students’ examination divides two parts too, first, the written theory is examined, second, real photography works. What’s more, they have still enjoyed one’s own fun of the photography at the same time, why not do it?
Anne is several successful photography works, we all put well with the large-scale picture frame, hang on the own wall, often appreciate. The most important thing is, she was fascinated by photographing from then on, gave her rich and colorful amateurish life to add a flower.
After entering second grade of the university, Anne says she wants to take a Chinese lesson. Guest’s old Chinese lesson is elective course which is regarded as the second extremely regular language. Course is divided into the beginning, middle and advanced, its content includes hearing,speaking,reading and writing and Chinese Pin Yin, the relevant Chinese history and culture of some of professors, national characteristic,etc. at the same time.
Because Anne has had good Chinese Pin Yin and foundation of Chinese characters since the childhood, and it is constant to insist on all the time in hearing. She takes the intermediate class as beginning. It can last term shes original with. I had never expected, has not already studied, learn, the interest can not be controlled once began.
Anne’s Chinese professor is a young teacher from Taiwan, who speaks a pure national language. She attack pedagogy and linguistics mainly in U.S.A., obtain doctorate, teach until guest loud. The greatest characteristic of her teaching is affable. Any appears in the big and small festival on the Chinese calendar, she will try to make some small presents, give to her every student, understand bit of Chinese culture in order to strengthen students. At the end of each term, she will pay the bill by oneself, buys a Chinese meal for each of student in the class (such a thing, U.S.A. teaches and seldom does) ,The students of the whole class chat in Chinese while eating with professor, the atmosphere is very moving and warm.
In U.S.A., Chinese and English learning method are very much the same, besides textbook, there is a large amount of outside reading. Finish reading a book suitable for outside reading each time, will hand in one and study in the report soon. Because of such high density training method, enable students to understand the Chinese book and use the Chinese composition quickly. Anne’s composition has been regarded as a model essay many times, and has been read out in the whole class by the teacher, enjoy together with everybody.
